Meet Shukri A. Rahman
Inspired by life experience, various cultures and personal relationships, Shukri Rahman has created a contemporary business philosophy with a steadfast dedication to design. Shukri combines his expert training and aesthetic intelligence in technical design, art and architecture with influences from travel and adventure. When creating this fusion of experience, knowledge and passion it provides a unique perspective to each project.
Raised on the East Coast, Shukri was stimulated by traditional values that hold true both in life and architecture. His work also draws from ventures in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East where rich history, diverse cultures and style form a broad sense of inspiration, materials and art. This translates into unique, spectacular and livable designs.
Shukri’s approach is one of collaboration. He believes in working closely with each client, while creating designs that address the clients’ individual needs and desires.
Shukri specializes in custom flooring Design as well as global sourcing. Some notable projects includes William Beaver House in NYC which is a 400 unit luxury residential, Susquehanna University, Partials at NYU, as well as Trump Soho in Manhattan.
Shukri Rahman is now primarily focus on strategic development, global sourcing, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions. He guides businesses through asset utilization, strategic realignments and divestitures, working with companies to strengthen their strategic teams and key personnel. As CEO, Shukri led both FloorMax Inc and FloorMax USA LLC through ambitious expansions and successful growth periods.
